Mr. Munkhnasan, Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia, held a meeting with the management of the respective departments and gave instructions.

The Director stated, “Your responsibilities and organization ultimately affect aviation safety and security. It is necessary to correct the tendency to put rights first and responsibilities second from this very moment” he said, emphasizing the need to prioritize aviation safety and security.

Each senior and mid-level director and manager was instructed to strictly adhere to the duties and goals set out in the job description, to be in charge of the work in accordance with the approved organizational structure, and not to be biased.

“The reputation of the industry and the positive atmosphere in the community are very important, and the success of the team depends on the leadership. Therefore, a director should be a leader, who is recognized, valued and accepted by his colleagues, not a merely a director or a manager”, he warned and allowed them six months to promote friendly atmosphere.

Mr. Munkhnasan, emphasized that every employee of the Civil Aviation Authority, a special government agency, should always remember the word “responsibility” and work to increase discipline and productivity.
