AIR SERVICE NEGOTIATION WILL BE ESTABLISHED WITH CANADA AND SPAIN

“ICAN 2018” of  Air service negotiation event, organized annually by the International Civil Aviation Organization, was held in Nairobi, Kenya from 10 to 14 December, 2018.

​ The purpose of this event is to provide Member States of ICAO with a central meeting place to conduct multiple bilateral (regional or plurilateral) air services negotiations or excellent networking opportunities with other countries, discussions of the prior issues, and exchange experiences.Mongolian delegates led by B.Altantsom,  Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia, made the meeting with the delegates from Italy, Greece, Spain, Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Seychelles, Australia and the UK about the Air service issues and  mutually agreed on some negotiation proposals.

SIGNED ON THE DRAFT NEGOTIATION  OF AIR SERVICE

Articles on 63 and 64 act of the Action Plan for the Implementation of “the State Policy on Civil Aviation for 2020”, adopted by the Minister of Roads and Transportation in 2014, states that the bilateral agreement on Air Service with the states in European Union shall be established. Within this frame work, B.Altantsom has met with representatives from the Civil Aviation Organization of Greece and Spain, and  agreed to sign on the  draft to establish Air service negotiation. In addition, Article 61 of the Act on the Implementation of “the State Policy on Civil Aviation for 2020”, approved by the Minister of Roads and Transportation in 2014 that stated  in accordance with the new negotiation with Civil Aviation Authority of Canada shall be established and agreed mutually  to sign on the  draft to establish Air service negotiation.

FLIGHT CODESHARE AGREEMENT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED

Mongolian delegates who participated in international conferences also met representatives of the Netherlands and Malaysian Civil Aviation Organization and established a Memorandum of Understanding to use and share flight code.

In addition, the “Meeting Notes” were signed by meeting with  representatives of the United Kingdom of Great Britain  delegates to address the issues of appointment and amendment of the Air Communication Agreement between two governments that established in 2000, in connection on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union.
